Yaviri Escalera is her name. This wonderful woman is full of positive energy, laughter, and wisdom. Family is very important to Yaviri. She’s gorgeous, she’s radiant, and she’s lovely.
She is a wife & mother of two beautiful boys. While family comes first she still makes time to pour into others.
Yaviri has been into photography for as long as she can remember. She has won numerous awards for her photography skills, and her work has been on display in the city of Charlotte.

Q: WHAT IS BEAUTY TO YOU?
Nature. Seeing a sunset or sunrise, listening to crashing waves, feeling warm rain on your skin is beautiful.
Q: WHAT ABOUT YOURSELF DO YOU NOT LIKE?
I have always struggled with my weight. From a young age, I was told I was smart and had a pretty face, but that I was fat. The sting of that never really faded. I’ve rewritten the story.
Q: DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF?
My ability to connect with people. Putting myself in other people’s shoes lets me learn more about them and who I am in this world.
Q: ONE THING ARE YOU WORKING ON TO BECOME A BETTER YOU?
I’m working on self-doubt. I am a perfectionist and that can be a strength, but it can also be a weakness. I’m learning to find joy in all situations.
Q: DO YOU ADMIRE MOST IN THIS WORLD? HOW DO THEY INSPIRE YOU?
If I could choose one of many, it would be my husband. We met in high school and had our first son when we were eighteen. In our 25yrs together he has always been by my side. He is the most loving and caring person I know.
Q: DO YOU ADMIRE MOST ABOUT OTHER WOMEN (PHYSICAL OR NOT)?
I admire women with confidence & determination
Q: VOICE COMES IN MANY FORMS. WHAT WOULD YOU WANT THE WORLD TO HEAR AND/OR SEE FROM YOUR VOICE?
Photography is one way I communicate, and I hope that my work shows my love for life and my creativity. You never have to give up on your dreams, but you do have to work hard to get them.
