Artina Floyd Padgett
Artina Floyd Padgett has definitely held the key for her family.
How do I know? Because she is my momma!
Growing up I witnessed first hand Mrs. Padgett set the tone in her house by balancing being a devoted wife and raising three children. She is a strong woman of faith. We literally heard her in her “prayer closet” over the years. Momma has prayed with us, for us, and for any of our childhood friends who have been in her presence.
I’ve watched Mrs. Padgett go through some really tough times throughout her life and seemed (resting in her faith) unbothered.
Proving resilient through tough times she managed to get her bachelors degree in 2008, majoring in English from UNC Charlotte at the age of 51. Artina Padgett is a phenomenal writer and is currently writing a book.
Additionally, she is an amazing singer. She has been singing every since she was a little girl, and was recruited to sing in church at a young age. Artina Padgett still enjoys singing on the praise team at her local church, and has been doing so for 23 years.

Q: WHAT ABOUT YOURSELF DO YOU NOT LIKE?
I can be very out spoken so I have to make it a point to think before I speak, and the Holy Spirit does a wonderful job leading me in that area.
Q: WHAT ABOUT YOURSELF DO YOU LOVE?
I love learning and research and with the Holy Spirit’s leadership it’s been a life of awesome adventures and still is.
Q: WHAT ONE THING ARE YOU WORKING ON TO BECOME A BETTER YOU?
Love no matter what. All of I Corinthians 13. God’s expectation of what love is. It’s a daily process.
Q: WHO DO YOU ADMIRE MOST IN THIS WORLD (dead or alive, famous or not)? HOW DO THEY INSPIRE YOU?
My mother, Beatrice Floyd, and her relationship with the Lord. She was my image of God. I saw the trust she had in Him and His faithfulness to her. She inspired me to do the same, and I’m having the same results; He’s been faithful every time.
Q: WHAT DO YOU ADMIRE MOST ABOUT OTHER WOMEN?
Their ability to recognize their most important assignment, Motherhood. Her children will rise up and bless her. That is a beautiful thing.
Q: VOICES COME IN MANY FORMS. WHAT DO YOU WANT THE WORLD TO HEAR AND SEE WHEN WITNESSING YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE?
I am a product of God’s idea and in Gensis 1:31 He saw what He made and it was very good. So it is for everyone of us. He loves us and His arms are open wide for us to walk into Him. Sharing this Good News is what excites me.
I am beyond fortunate to call this woman my mother.
She is gorgeous, she’s radiant, & she’s lovely.
